FACTS: 11.1 million tons of fabric that could have been recycled, gets thrown into landfills every year. The average growing child needs an entire wardrobe, of clothes a size bigger, each year.
Green Jean Kids is a non-profit based out of Southern California. We are an eco-friendly children's clothing recycling program, that allows parents to donate the clothes that their children have outgrown, and exchange them for pre-loved clothes in the size they need. We inspect and wash each piece of clothing that comes in, and get it ready for the next child who gets to wear it. Our program benefits both the community and the planet! It is a great way to teach children how to give back.
We know how hard it can be for parents to keep up with a growing child. Our program was created to help struggling parents, but it is open to anyone who needs it. There are no embarrassing financial forms to fill out. We know anyone can go through hard times, and we are here to help. We strive to bring the community together, and make it possible for every child to get the clothing they need. Whether you bring in clothes to exchange or donate, you can feel good knowing that you have made a difference.
